Linux Bookmark Project (part 2)

Well, a quick update. Ive been rummaging through all the links i have to hand (excluding blogs) and i am at about 120 bookmarks. Not a bad start.

I have hosted a .html file at file-front, and uploaded all of them to delicious.com. I’m going to put up a page on her with a copy of the current file in, then go looking for more websites. Namely blogs actually, i haven’t got any blogs in the file yet.

For the delicious bookmarks, look HERE

If you go for the download at file front and want to import them into your bookmarks follow these steps. I used Firefox, am going to see if this works in other browsers when i get time.

Download the .html file from HERE

Open your browser, click Bookmarks –> Organize Bookmarks

A new window or sidebar should appear, click Import / Export –> Import HTML file

Select the file named bookmarkproject0.1.html

You should now have 120 odd Linux bookmarks filed neatly away in your bookmarks folder.

I will be updating this file at some point as i want to get in more bookmarks, especially some of the better blogs. Until then, i hope someone finds this useful.

The page for this project can be found HERE
